I have a late 60's Super Reverb and it's awesome.  On guitar too!  For small
gigs my Kalamazoo2 has tone to the bone and it doesn't cost that much.
However I carry a SM58 and a small stand so that I can mic it into the PA
where necessary.

I was in the candy store yesterday and the tweed bassman sounded the best of
all the old fenders in there.  I now have amp cramps. =8^D
