Thanks to all that  answered, everyone states he hung onto SB2 since he was 
probably around 12 and  took over his band at a very young age. SB must have 
showed him TB as Cotton  uses a pure diaphram vibrato, not many can do that 
effectively, it's all lungs.  My friend books and plays with Jimmy often and 
states he's clean as a whistle,  not even pot which we all know he loved. Still 
playing his butt off.
