You don't necessarily have to use a reed of the correct pitch or length.  
SP20s use two widths of reeds and your replacement reed just has to be (a) 
the correct width (b) at least as long as the dead reed.  If it's too long 
you can snip off the excess with a pair of household scissors, fix it in 
place and fine-tune it.  If you've made the rivet hole in the reed-plate too 
big by clumsy tapping-out of the old reed (I do it nearly every time), never 
fear.  A tiny blob of epoxy resin (buy the quick-setting stuff) on the back 
of the heel of the reed will anchor it to the reedplate and stop it 
swivelling around.   The insides of my older SP20s are an absolute disgrace 
to look at but they work a treat and who looks at the inside anyway!
