Peter "Madcat" Ruth had offered a suggestion some time ago regarding running a mic into Boss Blues Driver into DI box into PA (thanks again to Peter). It was a path I took for standing -in and traveling light. I have been happy with the result. An enquiry to a user of the Fender Bassman pedal into PA has not gotten answered and it would be interesting to find out if it would get a nice amp simulation.

This might seem like a silly question, but those who have tried this
pedal,did you run the pedal
through an amp or did you go straight into a PA? I would find it
useful if you could get a decent tone right into a PA, not sure why one
would need an overdrive unit into an amp?
