I never met Paul Delay. I only know his personality through his music and lyrics. I know a little about his life, which had some hard times in it. I was always struck by how little bitterness there was in his music, and how much generosity, humor, and pleasure, and how brilliant and original his harmonica playing was.
RIP Paul Delay. His work will stand.
Regards, Richard Hunter
