I can`t describe how saddend I am by this news.
Paul deLay was one of the greatest harp players of the last few decades, certainly on of the most original and innovative. He was also a great singer and a original and moving songwriter.
I had the honor and the privilage and the pleasure of meeting and playing with Paul in 1998, after his "does chicago" album was released. He visited my hometown of Tel Aviv, Israel, for a week of shows here with a local band. I learned so much from watching and listening to him, and really enjoyed just hanging with him - a truly freindly, down-to-earth guy, who just happened to be one of my musical heros.
I will miss him - rest in peace
