The Hill Country Acoustic Music Camp <http://www.hcamp.org/>has asked me to
teach their folk/bluegrass/old-time harmonica class again this year. The
camp is 5 days of music instruction on a variety of instruments on the
Schreiner University campus in Kerrville, Tx. It is reasonably priced, the
instructors are top-knotch, and the accommodations are pleasurable. The
most important aspect of the camp for harmonica players who would like to
learn more in this realm of music is the opportunity to learn how to work
with the stringed musicians and help them learn to work with us. The camp
includes monitored jams, including a slow jam for those who are just getting
started, and free jamming and shows with the instructors (so you can see
them put into practice what they preach).
If you would like to learn harmonica in the world of
folk/old-time/bluegrass, check out the camp's website at www.hcamp.org.
