I also agree, that she should really play more acoustically, (sans mic etc) to improve all she can.  However if she is going to do it.  I would "HIGHLY" recommend trying Greg Huemann's site at http://www.blowsmeaway.com/index.html  for all the items listed below.  He has done 2 Mic's for me with in line vol ctrl, adaptor with a switchcraft screw on into a belden cable. Both are really out of this world.  Great workmanship.

He also makes mic's and is an expert on Kalamazoo II.  His are very clean and changed enough for the harp and I'd trust his before any E-bay, unless you personally know the seller.
