Hi all,
I volunteered to play with some friends at a 'talent' show and would like
some tips on working out a tune. We picked Sweet Home Chicago, so I have a
lot of room to be creative and let the harp add to the song. Listening to
some different versions, I would like to be able to mimic the horns
section. This clip on You Tube does it pretty well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j0VfljEJ3I
in the 21 second of the song, he mimics a horn section. I would like to be
able to use this, but haven't worked it out yet. Can anyone give me a
suggestion on how to figure out this and other songs?
I generally play more rhythmic/percussive harp with country blues and learn
tunes from other players, so this is new approach for me.
Thanks,
Jesse
