Another aspect is to understand that acoustic playing and amplified playing  
should be approached individually - as two different types of "techniques". 
 
Acoustic is making sure you get as full a sound as you can through your  pure 
technique and the way you relate to the harmonica.
 
Amplified can be considered a different animal that encompasses mic holding  
technique and the way you relate to the electronics.
