Re: [Harp-L] teacher's jam from Rockin in the Rockies
Now that's what Iiii'm talkin' 'bout,,
Still,,
Too old to dance, y'all? Well,, I saw one guy with his one foot
moving,,maybe,,
Remember,,dancing helps one to lose weight,,hehe,,
Looks like a methodist church meetin', with pulpit and pewwwws. It's that
pulpit/pew thing. The great dichotomy. Gotta get that "community thing"
goin' again, like the "Grateful Dead", or a REAL blues club. "Yeah, the
joint was a jumpin',,goin' round and round,,"
Allright, students,,,now let's start with the one hole,,
Oh well,,,,sheeesh,,"white people",,
What can I say,,it's inbred,,this academic tendency,, keeping things
"tidy",,
I remember sitting in some of those "audiences", with the "seats",,like
little prisons, each one. My head was all that moved. I was so tight, it
squeaked. "Dancin' with my head",,haha
I still think it's the fluorescents, or those silly-ass foldable chairs,,
I remember going to concerts at the Shrine Auditorium back in '66, '67,,NO
SEATING. Man,,those were the days,,Johnny Winter, Electric Flag, Janis,
Country Joe,, If I wasn't dancin' with someone, I'd dance with a dang stick.
Someone hand me my shades,,,
