I have two suggestions:
1) An older stereo "head" (60s and 70s era) from a thrift store, garage
sale, etc. They almost always had 1/4" "MIC" inputs on them.
2) A karaoke machine with a CD and tape player/recorder from a thrift
store, garage sale, etc. This would also give you the option of taping
yourself for review later. - Very cool feature, with no need for fancy
hook-ups. Just slip in a CD, cassette tape and a mic (or two) and you're
good. Very portable, too. Can also be used to make a decent amateur
recording of a gig with two mics running in stereo, if the unit has that
option.

Does anyone know of a way to turn a home stereo amp into a P.A. - not
necessarily for harmonica,
but is there any way to hook a Shure 58 into a home stereo amplifier?
