Re: [Harp-L] Small Amp Question

Kevin, I have the new Fender Champion 600 and love it ! It's a little tone
monster ! It really sounds good at low volumes and mics very nicely for
playing out. I've had it to a couple of jams and really like the sound I
get from it. I was pleasantly surprised with this little amp. I replaced
the preamp tube with a 12AY7 to reduce the gain a little. I can turn it up
to 8-9 before feedback. I found it for $149 new in a small shop in MD. It
sounds better and is more feedback resistant than many of my other "vintage"
amps. Very good for practice because it breaks up very nice before it gets
too loud. You cant go wrong with this little guy ! --Joe
