I bought an 8" AlNiCo speaker from Weber VST.  It was bought to replace 
an Oxford 8-EV that had been damaged by the probing fingers of the TSA. 
  Sonically it's a complete doppelgänger  for the speaker it replaced. 
 How I know this is I have another 8-EV plus I got the original reconed 
by Gregg Hopkins and he used an original Oxford recone kit in it.  All 3 
speakers sound the same.  Not alike, the same.  I figured out which 
Weber to get by e-mailing Ted Weber.  He was very helpful and I am very 
pleased with the speaker.

I bought 4 of the Jensen P-10R's when they were reissued by Recoton.  I 
hate them.  The Eminence Fender 10's were a lot better sounding in terms 
of the sound I was seeking.  I ended up buying some older Celestion 70 
watt 10's and I really like those.  Yes, this is all very highly 
subjective.  fjm
