[Harp-L] REF; HARP-L DIGEST = VOL 57 ISSUE 56 SUBJ; SOAKING HARMONICAS

Since this subject was previously addressed prior to this, the major con-census was (for harps without wood combs)

1. Fill a small rectangular container (Tupperware is good) with warm water and throw in 2 tablets of EFFERDENT DENTURE CLEANER, stir until it turns BLUE, drop in 4-5 harps.  Wait approx 10 minutes or until water starts to clear.

2. Remove each harp and rinse , shake out and slap it on your hand which is covered with a towel, wipe it dry and blow and draw through the entire harp.  Repeat slapping several times , dry with towel and blow and draw several times till it sounds clear.  It will be as shiny and responsive as thought it was brand new.

3. Some have even purchased small auto-claves to  use after above treatment.....try it....you'll like it!'
