Here's more on the Chromatic/Diatonic Crossover Seminar:
Do you play chromatic and wonder about the diatonic? Maybe you play
diatonic and wonder about that strange thing called a chromatic. Maybe
you play both and wish you could reconcile the differences.
If so, this seminar is for you. Come to the chromatic/diatonic
crossover seminar, where you can both listen and ask questions. The
seminar features a panel discussion with several prominent musicians
who play both chromatic and diatonic harmonicas. Each panelist will
give an individual talk and demonstration, followed by interactive talk
among the participants and questions from audience members.
Panelists will include (this will be updated as developments occur)
Allen Holmes
Richard Hunter
Brendan Power
Michael Peloquin
Randy Singer
Andy Wilson
Winslow Yerxa
Subjects will include:
--Differences in tuning layout, including missing notes,
duplicated notes, and alternate tunings
