Very cool.  As a non-contributing and erstwhile lurking member of this  most 
esteemed community, this one made me snicker.  So, indulge me my  answers to 
this list:

First....think of when you started out. How much did you  pay for your  
first harp? (that's the only thing I remember about 1972) Now think   about

Dunno.  It was cheap, though.  Cheap enough that you could buy  one and not 
really think about the price.
 


Did it make you happy the first time you bent a   note?
I was giddy as a schoolgirl.  Add to that, landing on a 12-bar  'turnaround' 
when playing with another instrument, and of course the  first overblow.
 
 


How many of your friends bought harps after you   did?
Most.
 
 


How many of them kept playing for more than 2   weeks?
None.
 
 
 


In your life have you tried to spread the love  of  harp?
In my own, eccentric way.  Yes.
 
 


Did you ever get cold chills playing along with  somebody  that you 
thought was the MAN?
Yes.  Multiple "Men":  Lester Butler, Mel Melton, and Hatrack  Gallagher.
 
 

Do people ever ask you to play...ie.    Hey  boy....did ye bring dat dare 
Juice Harp wich ye? 
 
Yes.
 
 
 


Did you ever get a date because of the way you  play  the  harp? 
 
No.  But, it may be part of the overall success package of my 22 year  
marriage.  "get out of the house, I'm trying to clean up around here.....go  outside 
and play your harps or something"
 
                                             

Now try and not think about how much money you  have made compared to  
how much time you put into it and how much you spent on  harps over the  
years.
