I bought Brendan Power's Irish Music instruction book some years back. 
Amongst the tune players (I'm one), Brendan stands alone with his use 
and astonishing control of ornamentation. He outlines his ornamentation 
techniques in detail in the book. He also teaches a good selection of 
Irish tunes, and you get to play along with him. If you're interested in 
this style, then his book and the CD it comes with are worth having.
