Buzz was friendly towards me from the get-go (Buckeye 91) but it  
wasn't until Spah Memphis 94, that we really connected. I had come  
back to playing the harmonica after a 35 year lay off, and was  
scheduled to play up at the open air gazebo/tent at Jackson Square  
when a lightning storm held up the show. We had just lost our only  
son and I was pretty down. I was going to give up EVERYTHING but Buzz  
convinced me that music (and harp) was good therapy and a mental  
outlet for my anguish. So, basically he kept me in the game. Since  
then I have met the only people I have ever had any use  
for.....Harmonica players. Buzz (& Allen Holmes) have been my biggest  
influences.

As for the purple sport jacket, I have one in green & gold Chinese  
brocaide that makes his look bland. I got too fat to wear it. :)
