Re: [Harp-L] Roland MicroCube Amp

I think it's great, but only if you must have a battery powered amp. I use it in the car. I'm a tube amp purist, but the MicroCube sounds acceptable to my ears. It's not a super-distorted sound, though. You can't get a really good crunch sound without feedback, but it is crunchy enough for low volumes. If you are using it in your house and have access to electric, there would be no reason to buy this one.

Subject: [Harp-L] Roland MicroCube Amp

Hi All
Has anyone got any experience with a Roland MicroCube amp? I am considering buying one and would appreciate any comments. I intend to use it for practice at home, playing chromatic and diatonic.

Thanks
Christopher
