I guess it is not supposed to be the real thing, but an interesting option
for situations where you cannot bring the real thing, or for those who
cannot afford it. It will probably bring quite good results for harmonicas
too, Fender and Boss wouldn`t release something unpolished.
Of course, no tube swapping to make it sing better with harp.
