Blues and harmonica is everywhere in the world. The way I got familiar with this list was through an American harp player, Tom Colvin, on a business trip in Manila in the Philippines in the early nineties. There is not a corner of the world where harp is not played or recognized.
It is of course nice and in some cases genuinely interesting to learn about local musical culture. But no matter what part of the world you're in, there's always somebody with Marine Bands, a Green Bullet and a collection of Little and Big Walter recordings.
