Re: [Harp-L] Subject: YouTubes of Fredric Yonnet...Little WingandNational Anthem
Hi,
once someone from this group attends Fred's concert, please check his
rig set up: pedals and connections. I met Fred 3 years ago and found out
what he uses, but didn't check chain order, etc.
He also was using intersing mic which fitted in the palm of his hand
and it was wireless. I guess mic itself is inside of the harp -
customized - and he held the transmitter or some part of it. it still
remains a secret to me what was it exactly, but the level of freedom was
99.9% for sure. He didn't seem to experience any inconvenience due to
wires, etc. - he performed as if no equipment was involved and at the
same time he sounded through PA and his HotRod amp. Great feature -
seemless rig with full focus on playing and body language of which Fred
is famous.
He lives in Arlington, Washington DC area, and performs in cities
around.
please post your impressions after you attend.
thanks,
alex

Fredric Yonnet is great. He showed up at a harmonica workshop in DC by
Phil
Wiggins a few months ago and did an off-the-cuff duet with Phil that
sounded
great. I wish I had brought a recorder that day.
