Jason is not leaving forever - at least I don't think so. From what
he's written here and elsewhere I think he just needs to step away for
awhile for the sake of his own mental well-being. After all, who wants
to be a target? Some of the stuff thrown at him on another forum was
really nasty

I imagine he'll be not totally out of touch. And of course you can
always email him directly via his website.
