Try the new beta version of Google's patent search engine:
http://www.google.com/patents
It is nice for finding harmonica patents but just seems to be a
simplified and slow front end to the U.S. patent office. Would be
nice if patents other than U.S. patents were searched.
But search and be amazed when you type in "harmonica epping" and can
see, for example, the full design of the XB40. You also find in
patent us005166461 that over 30 alternate harp tunings have actually
been patented.
