Hey Mike... I have a Blues Jr. and, for your style, I bet you would
like it. Have you ever tried one? If not, maybe I can find my way to
one of your upcoming gigs.
But the reverb sucks on my Blues Jr.

Every few months, I feel the need to find another "small" amp to
compliment my
Bassman LTD. After a year of heavy gigging, I have the Bassman as
locked in as
possible for a non-gear head, but I still crave a small amp that can
compete on
stage. Something that can be mic'ed front of house, but I can hear
without
monitors.
More specifically, I want an amp with a good onboard reverb. It
needs to get
as loud (or louder) then a Pro Junior, be road worthy, a good harp amp,
and
lightweight. A Blues Jr. perhaps? Try to keep any suggestions under a
$1,000.
We reguarily play rooms with sound guys, and sometimes the Bassman is
overkill. I have a Kalamazoo, but it isn't loud enough. It also isn't
as
sturdy as other amps. It totally rocks, but I like it too much to mess
with it
at gigs.
I use dynamic mics, don't want to use pedals, and like the clean
headroom the
Bassman gives me. I know there are a lot of great amps out there, but
often
times they weigh nearly as much as my Bassman. If I wanted to lug a
40lbs plus
amp, I'd just bust out the LTD.
Any suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!
