the video. Upon re-reading your post I see that you were only talking about
the audio. Use Audacity.

GoVideo makes a combo VHS/DVD player/recorder. You can play a VHS tape
in one side and record it on to a DVD on the other. I have one and have
copied most of my collection of VHS instruction to DVD. Perhaps you can
find someone near you who has one (I think they cost about $200
nowadays. I was able to pick mine up used for $69 though.)
It can be done with a personal computer and the right hardware and
software. But not all of us have the necessary stuff to do it. It
requires a fast computer, fast video capture hardware, and the proper
software.
If it is not copyrighted and you don't sending it to me I will do it for
you. We can discuss it offline.
