Indeed.  I play an SBS in the key of D.  The plates are mounted on a 
composite comb.  They are held with 2 screws; one at either end. 
Several years ago I quickly assembled this combination thinking I'd go 
back and drill and tap the plates for more fastening points.  I've never 
bothered because the 2 screws on a dead flat comb and plate combination 
work just fine.  fjm
