Hey Mike here is a good way to set up a 'pure' chromatic set of notes to
practise your bends to if you have a good selection of diatonics.
As an example.
Take a G harp and record yourself blowing* the 4 hole for (say)5
seconds,then a D harp,blow r the 2 hole,5 secs, and then a Bb and blow 3 as
above.
You then have 3 pure tones (in the right pitch)of all the
draw bends in hole 3 on an A harp to play along with to
'tune ' your ear.
You can do the same thing for any combination of bends you
like.Sure beats playing along to a pitch machine.
* using blow notes probably helps to get better pure intonation than using
draw notes.

then I do. It would be great to have sound samples of
a really awesome player playing the chromatic scale at
a slow pace. Somebody who is spot on with their tone,
