I'd like to make the/a convention some time. I have no doubt I would

.....That's great!   You're in luck...the SPAH convention  this year (August 
16 - 19, 2007 from their Ad on the back page  of Harmonica Happenings) ..(at 
least I think those are the  dates...it's listed as April 14 - 18 on the 
website)  will be in  Milwaukee, hosted by the Milwaukee Harmonica Club,  just a 
hop,  skip and a jump for you  <G>
 
Actually, even if you can't make the whole thing, people DO sometimes  stop 
by just for a day or two..or the last day if they can't take time off  work (it 
runs through Saturday..and the big Banquet and show is on  Saturday night).  
Of course you then only have to pay for the time  you're in attendance, I 
believe...
