I have a Zoom MRS 1044, I love  it. The effects are better on my Roland VS 
840 GX though. I'm gonna use the  Zoom for the drum machine and the extra tracks 
The effects aren't awful  on the Zoom, I just like the effects on the Roland 
better, especially the  vocal effects, mic and speaker simulations and pitch 
change amongst  others. Now if I can figure out how to access all this without 
spending a day  tweeking tone I'll have it made. LOL
