Hi Bob,
I have owned several EV 605 microphones and like the size and feel of the shell. The elements can vary widely in tone, some are lo-z, etc.
The Hi-Z element can sound fantastic.
Like the Green Bullet series, lots of different models over the years.
The element is the key.
BB
Happy New Year All!

I played using an EV 605 mic at a jam last week, best mic I ever used
for my hot Harpgear twin. I borrowed this mic from one of the jammers
(my 520SL died), anyone know where I can find one? Is this the worlds'
best kept secret, owner said it had stock element. Thanks.
