In response to Wolf Kristiansen query;
The tongue flutter is indeed produced in the way described by Rod Piazza.Another Little Walter example is 'She's So Pretty' by Muddy Waters.
The trick is to move the tongue back and forth the minimum distance required to create the effect,so that it scarcely leaves the harp at all.The energy is created further back along the tongue and generated down to the flattened front of the tongue which is laying on the face of the harp.
You don't have to do it fast-it works just fine at moderate muscle speed.
