I listened to Jason Ricci's Rocket Number 9 last night, and I thought
the singing was good, certainly very emotional. Ricci's singing is much
more rock and roll than blues--in fact, he sounds a lot like Steve Tyler
in many places on this CD. To be expected, I think, from someone who
bills himself as a rocker. Anyway, the singing on this record is one of
my favorite things about the record.
