Middle C corresponds to blow-4 on a regular C diatonic and blow-4/5 on a
regular C chromatic. You can easily check this yourself (and any other
note) with a cheap keyboard.
George Brooks and Michael Rubin preach this all the time, but it's worth
repeating to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of taking a lesson with
them: any serious musician should own a cheap keyboard. It's as essential
as a chromatic tuner or metronome, and you can find one for under $50. In
fact, most electronic keyboards have built-in metronomes. You don't have to
be learning piano to make good use of a keyboard.
