Depending on the harp, you might be a few cents out one way or the other,
but the 'floor' of bend 2 is the keynote of 12th
Mashing down the two hole inhale bend to the floor will give you a tone
approximately 20 cents flat of the true pitch. To play well in 12th position
w/tonic note, learn to play that note at pitch. The same goes for all the notes
created w/bending techniques. If you push them to the "floor", the tone will be
below the true pitch of that specific note.
I teach how to aim for a foot above the "floor" when bending to a note - a
mental visual image to help with the owning of the proper technique.
