Rap ain't music, and that's not meant as a put down. It's variously poetry or prose-in-verse, and visually, it's acting; I might even say 'mummery' or mime, where the gestures are at least as important if not more, than anything said. Music is just the soundtrack.

As for the non-rap music, I liked it, and the way he played. It was good
