L O Smith on the Absolut vodka bottles refers to Lars Olsson Smith
(1836-1913), owner of a large Swedish distillery who was, in a sense, the
originator of Absolut vodka.
His relation to the world of harmonica is higly indirect.

L.O. Smith is a corporation name and importers of many different
Vodkas. While their U.S. headquarters are in Mandeville (across lake
Ponchartrain from N.O. La. ) They had a pier in N.O. La. At least
they did in 1960.
