[Harp-L] Thanks to Tom Stryer and SPAH
I've been having email issues and didn't see this show up yesterday, so
forgive me if this is a re-send.
An open thanks to Tom Stryker:
I'm sure you are catching up on work and sleep after all your hard work.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you profusely for putting on
what appears to have been an amazing conference. I wish I could have
been there. I wanted to say publically that you have been so gracious
in reaching out to the Miller family this year and so great to them.
I'm sure LD will post at some point perhaps about how much fun he had,
how much he learned, and especially how many amazing new friends he
made; though it would probably echo much of what has already been said.
But I have certainly heard great things...he really loved it. I have
occasionally seen on some blogs or posts some concern that leadership
may not be reaching the younger generation so crucial in advancing the
convention and the instrument, so I just wanted to say, Tom, that I
cannot count the # of times you reached out to us and how instrumental
you were in getting LD and his family there, as well as other young
players. Aside from the huge undertaking of the conference, you have
gone beyond the call in reaching out to us numerous times in the past 15
months. I also wanted to thank Rupert (you're awesome) and Seydel for
their support and amazing products.

flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to
everything. It is the essence of order and lends to all that is good and
just and beautiful." PLATO
