It could have, but with similar experience and knowing what natural reverb  
does in a room that size, it's not too much of a stretch to conclude that that  
natural reverb would have blurred fast 16 and 32nd notes together as a matter 
of  acoustic science.
 
We'll never know for certain unless we return to that very venue and try to  
duplicate the scenario. It does make for a lively discussion, n'est  pas?
