Okay i don't know if i missed some of the emails on this one but i'm pretty sure the song is in C and Mickey's playing an F major diatonic in second position. Please correct me if i'm wrong. i personally like using a G in 4th on this for certain parts although i suck in 4th (mayby i should blow LOL).
IcemanLE@xxxxxxx wrote: If you take the verse melody and change the major 7th note (which leads to a
major 6th) to a major 6th, it still sounds acceptable. However, in the
chorus, you will need the major 7th (5 hole OB) just for a quick second, but you
can voice lead up to it chromatically from the 5 hole inhale to help achieve
the OB.
You do need pretty good control on the notes created through bending
techniques on holes 3 and the 4 hole inhale bend held steady at pitch.
For improv, you can create ideas that avoid the major 7th.
