Re: [Harp-L] Harmonica Documentary Website Update

Oh baby! Commerciality and blues harp, what a combination! I hope the movie does well and is beneficial, without taking undue advantage of struggling musicians and artists. OK. Good luck, caveat emptor, watch yer ass and share but beware . . . Mr. Hunter's sage advice should be heeded before being ignored at one's peril.

But trashing other harp players is a bunch of crap. OK, except for whatsisname from bluestraveler. But seriously, what good does it do to demean other players? it lowers the demean-er and the whole conversation. And gets me riled up!

Some of y'all on this list got lots of ego, and it's often quite obnoxious. As the old saying goes, those who say don't know, those who know don't need to talk shit. Thus my instant screed.

Whether you can play this or that or sing and such, I don't really care, even if I can't. I do have some cool hats, a good history and occasionally I think can play a whole song (uh, what's a song?)

But y'all are wrong to grieve over your or others' exclusion from the Harp movie, it's ME! I got the beef!

I AM the coolest mfing blues cat in the world, man, I got it fo'real, not like you suburban wimpy-assed wannabees with hiteck crapola and brains and training and intilleck and shit, y'all are nothing! I know! Let me tell you:

It should've been ME with that real harp flick!
