[Harp-L] RE: My Sonny Jr. 4-10

George what a nice thing to say, thanks! As I said in my post,
contemplating. My last bunch of gigs were straight through the PA. Blues has
not been my main style lately. Last weekend in CT it was a mix of roots
rock, country, bluegrass, Cajun, Grateful Dead, Dylan, Zappa and a
smattering of blues. Trust me, lots of fakin' on that bluegrass and Zappa
stuff! Life is just much easier when sitting in on the road by plugging
right into the PA. My new local situation looks to be a lot of Reggae, Soco
& Pop Rock stuff with the band I met a few weeks ago. That stuff will sound
just fine through the PA. I am also working on a solo concept, a mix of solo
harp, jamming with tracks and stand up comedy! I guess I just have some
quilt looking at that $2000+ monster and not using it. My lousy back doesn't
look forward to humping it up the stairs either! No sudden moves unless the
right offer comes along. I am even contemplating that Bose PAS system and if
I went forward with that thought I would indeed be in a cash crunch and be
more inclined to part with the amp.

By the way, I enjoyed your playing on those clips you posted a few weeks
ago. I plan on visiting the great state of VT this summer. Perhaps I can
check you out live in a gigging situation. Not this weekend though, looks
like stormy weather in on the front burner.

Thanks again for those kind words.

I am contemplating putting my 4-10 up for sale. Not because I am in cash
crunch it's more because I am just not doing the type of gigging that
needs
this firepower. I have owned it for 2 years and have less than 10 hours
gigging time on it. I live on Long Island in NY. Anyone interested in
discussing please email me off list.

Unless there is a big amp that you think you will like better, hold on
to it. With your talent, you are going to find yourself on some big
stages and will wish you still had it.
