I'm kind of curious about how polyurethane and brass dust might do.  Here in the states they sell 'Gorilla Glue' which is marketed as a polyurethane glue.  The down side of this particular product is that in the fact that it foams dramatically in the drying/curing process.  But I wonder how just plain old polyurethane that folks use for woodworking projects may work if it is mixed with brass power.
