Best Duo-  BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2005

Best known as a significant fiddle  player in the celtic tradition, Aly Bain 
is regarded as Scotlands supreme  fiddler. A founder member of Boys of the 
Lough, Aly is joined by  world-famous accordion player, Phil Cunningham. The duo 
have been playing  together since 1988 and have toured extensively, playing to 
packed  audiences in the USA, Spain, Scotland and a host of festivals in
