I have a professional musician friend that lives in Austin who is looking to
bring the harp into his repetoire. He's implied to me that his ambitions
don't really stretch much past dylanesque / neil young type of stuff. He'll
be playing in a rack as he plays guitar...and possibly even keyboards. Any
particular harps work better with a rack and for that kind of playing? What
instrictional material will get him down the road to competency? Any
recommendations? He is a lifelong musician, and since he always was a way
better musician than me when we were kids (which is one of many reasons he's
a real rock star now and I'm not), I've got to assume he has a solid grasp
of basic theory. Any suggestions for purchases, or resources in Austin would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
