Jim, Like PT said, a few good licks and/or patterns learned so as to be automatic can eventually be played as fast as you'd care to have them. There are several good examples of this on the recording that accompanies Steve Baker's Harp Handbook.

I'd like to work on increasing my speed on the harmonica. Anyone have any suggestions for riffs or practice runs to increase speed? Of course the blues scale up and down the harp is good and I already work that. Some triplets too. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
