If you *have* to leave your case unattended, I still think the best solution is a cable lock, such as those used for a laptop or even bicycle/motorcycle. put that through the case handle and attach to something large or heavy, this at least prevents stealth "walk-offs", someone would have to do some work to get the handle off or something. Usually the case is unattended only for a short period of time (i.e. bathroom breaks, getting a drink, etc). Of course, I'm assuming a locking case here too.
