[Harp-L] Recording practice sessions

Hidiho to all harp-l.  What do you use (brands, models)to record your practice
sessions?  I'm looking for a simple set-up that's portable, has internal
playback, and can be uploaded into a computer.  Is a digital voice recorder
sufficient?  I'm a technical nimrod, so dummy it down for me, please.
