The reason this would happen is if ithe auxiliary reed for hole 2 blow is
tuned a wholetone lower than the regular reed, and the auxiliary for hole 5
blow is tuned a minor third below than the regular reed.
That's what Rick was saying in his earlier email.
As to why you'd want that setup, you need to ask the person who uses it.
